It finds the part you meant
Ask for "the bit where she explains the pricing" and Claude looks before it cuts. It reads frames from the video, each marked with its time, and a transcript of what is said with timestamps. Then it trims to that moment instead of guessing. When word timings are available it can start a cut on the first word of a sentence and end it on the last.
Your library stays yours
Claude sees only what you send
Claude does not browse your Easy Reels library. It works with the files you send in that chat, and a library file reaches it only when you pick it yourself in the upload panel. Each connection starts in your Default workspace; say "switch to the Acme workspace" to use another one.
Setup
Connect it in under a minute
You need an Easy Reels account on Ultra or Foundation. The connector address is the same everywhere:

Claude.ai and Claude Desktop
- Add the connector. In Claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector and paste https://mcp.easyreels.io/mcp.
- Sign in and allow. Click Connect, sign in with your Easy Reels account and choose Allow. Claude starts in your Default workspace.
- Ask for a video. In a new chat, turn Easy Reels on from the tools menu, send your clips and photos, and describe the video you want.
Claude Code
Run this once in your terminal, then type /mcp in Claude Code and sign in to Easy Reels:
claude mcp add --transport http easyreels https://mcp.easyreels.io/mcpClaude Code uploads files from your computer itself, so you can say "make a reel from the clips in ./shoot" and leave it to it.

Ultra is $39 a month or $390 a year, and Foundation is Ultra for life at $279 once. Easy Reels in Claude comes with both, alongside unlimited brand spaces, batches of 50, 20 GB of storage and your own fonts and LUTs. What is Easy Reels in Claude?
A connector that lets Claude edit your own clips and photos into finished videos. You send the files in the chat and describe the video; Claude writes the edit and Easy Reels renders it into an MP4 with the same fonts and filters as the app.
Which plan includes it?
Ultra, and Foundation, which is Ultra bought once. It is not part of Pro.
Where does it work?
In Claude.ai and Claude Desktop as a custom connector, and in Claude Code from the terminal. In the chat apps the files go through an upload panel inside the conversation; Claude Code uploads files from your computer directly.
Can Claude see my whole Easy Reels library?
No. Claude only works with the files you send it in that chat. Library files reach it only when you pick them yourself in the upload panel.
Does it need a template or a song with a beat?
No. Claude writes a new edit for every video: the order of the scenes, the cuts, the transitions and the text. Music is optional, and so is sound at all.
Can it find the right part of a long video?
Yes. Before it cuts, Claude looks at frames from the video with their timestamps and at a transcript of what is said, then trims to the part you described.
What does it render?
An MP4 in 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9, up to 3 minutes long. Videos land in My Generations and on the Claude page in the app, and a player shows them in the chat.
Is this an AI video generator?
No. Nothing is invented. Claude edits the footage, photos and music you give it, and the video is rendered from those files.
