# Refund Policy > How the 7-day free trial, monthly and annual billing, plan changes, credit packs and refunds work at Easy Reels, and how to cancel or ask for a refund. Email [support@easyreels.io](mailto:support@easyreels.io). ### Free trials Every new Pro or Ultra subscription, monthly or annual, starts with a 7-day free trial. You are not charged when you sign up. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged at all. If you don't, the subscription starts and renews automatically. ### Monthly plans Monthly plans (Pro $29/month, Ultra $59/month) renew automatically every month until you cancel. Because you had 7 days to try the Service and cancel at no cost, all payments after the trial are non-refundable. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for. ### Annual plans Annual plans (Pro $290/year, Ultra $590/year) renew automatically every year until you cancel. After each annual charge, the first one and every renewal, you have 30 days to ask for a refund. The refund is the amount you paid minus one month at the full monthly price of the same plan (Pro $29, Ultra $59), not the annual price divided by twelve. **Example:** you pay $290 for Pro annual and ask for a refund 12 days later. One month of Pro at the full monthly price is $29, so you get back $261. For Ultra annual: $590 − $59 = $531. More than 30 days after the charge, it is non-refundable. You can still cancel the automatic renewal at any time and keep access until the end of the year you have paid for. We email you before each annual renewal. ### Changing plans **Upgrades** (Pro to Ultra, or monthly to annual) take effect immediately: you are charged the prorated difference for the rest of the current period at once. You can ask for a refund of that prorated upgrade charge within 7 days of it. **Downgrades** (Ultra to Pro, or annual to monthly) take effect at the start of your next billing period (for annual plans, at renewal). You keep the current plan until then, and there is no refund or credit for the current period. ### Credit packs A credit pack is refundable within 7 days of purchase, but only if none of its credits have been used. Once you use any credit from a pack, that pack is non-refundable. The credits that come with your plan are spent first, then packs, oldest first. The monthly credits included in a plan are not a pack: they follow the rules of the subscription. ### One-time purchases One-time purchases (such as an Easy Reels for Mac licence) come with a 7-day money-back guarantee: contact us within 7 days of the purchase and tell us why, and we refund it in full. After 7 days, the purchase is non-refundable. ### Mistakes on our side A duplicate charge, or a charge caused by a technical error on our side, is always refunded in full, whenever you tell us about it. ### Chargebacks If you open a dispute or chargeback with your bank instead of contacting us, your account is suspended until the dispute is resolved. You can still sign in and reach support while it is open. If the dispute is decided in your favour, or withdrawn, the account is restored. ### How to cancel Open [Settings](https://app.easyreels.io/settings) in the app and choose **Cancel subscription**, or **Manage billing** to open the Stripe customer portal, where you can also update your card and download invoices. The emails we send before a trial ends and before an annual renewal also have a one-click cancel link. ### How to ask for a refund Email [support@easyreels.io](mailto:support@easyreels.io) from the address on your account and say which charge it is about. Refunds go back to the original payment method. An unused credit pack within its 7 days can also be refunded from the app. ### Purchases before November 4, 2026 Subscriptions and purchases made before November 4, 2026 keep the terms in force when they were made, including their prices.
